Shop on Taieri, the great little op shop at 135 Gordon Road, has been gifted by Presbyterian Support Otago to the Taieri Presbyterian Churches.  As from 2 July the shop will be owned by Saddle Hill Foundation Trust (established by East Taieri Church 24 years ago to provide services for children and families on the Taieri) and operated with the support of Taieri Churches.

We welcome your donations of clean, re-usable and unbroken: clothing, shoes, collectables, bric-a-brac, fabric, household items, jewellery, books, blankets, toys, puzzles, antiques. Just ask yourself 'can someone else can get use from this'? (No electrical goods, sorry).

Recycle what you don’t need and buy what you do need from Shop on Taieri – op shopping is the socially responsible way to shop!

Your purchases and donations help fund SHFT’s work with children, youth and families in your local community.

We are now recruiting volunteers for the store.  Our valued volunteers work in customer service, store displays, sorting and pricing and recycling.  We also need people who can make shopping bags from our recycled fabric – this can be done from home if preferred.

To drop off donations, pop into the store.  To find out more about volunteering call the store Manager Fiona Smaill on 489 1351.
