East Taieri Church has been amazingly blessed by the foresight, planning and the giving of those who have gone before.
The future is one where the call to Mission and Ministry in Jesus name will continue to be what shapes our life as God’s people. Because we believe “all people matter to God” the challenge will be to continue with our life of worship, to reach out to a hurting world around us through Community Ministries and to the far reaches of the world through our Global Mission support of missionaries.
An investment in the future can mean investing in “bricks and mortar”, but much more importantly it is about investing in people whose lives are changed by an encounter with Jesus.
Making A Bequest:
You can continue to play a part in this through your will or by a legacy or bequest.
It is easy to arrange, and can cost you nothing. When you make your Will simply talk to your solicitor or legal advisor. An example of the appropriate wording is given below. If you have a current Will all you need do is add a codicil to your Will. In doing so you are making a donation to East Taieri Church which will live on long after you have died.
